6 Charcuterie Bites, 6 Different Ways

Ingredients
Toasted Baguette:
1 Baguette (from Solace Artisan Breads), cut into 1 inch slices
3 TB of hazelnut oil (from Hazel Heart Farms)
Bruschetta:
2 heirloom tomatoes (from Nistler Farms), diced
½ TB of basil (from Kisheri Farm), chiffonnade
Pinch of salt
Drizzle of your favorite balsamic reduction/vinegar
Caramelized Onion + Cheese:
2 onions (from Enchanted Garden), thinly sliced
2 TB of hazelnut oil (from Hazel Heart Farms)
1 TB of quark cheese (from Cosmic Wheel Creamery)
Pinch of salt and pepper
Mushroom + Cheese:
12 oz of wild mushroom mix (from Northwood Mushrooms), chopped
1 generous TB of Bapsang Savory Herb Seasoning (from TonzKitchen)
2 TB of hazelnut oil (from Hazel Heart Farms)
1 TB of brie cheese (from Shepherd’s Way Farm)
Hot Chili Oil + Honey + Salami:
1 tsp of Minnesota 7 hot chili oil (from TonzKitchen)
Drizzle of Falsedragon Honey (from Ames Farm)
1 TB of Fuet (from Lowry Hill Provisions), diced
1 TB of brie cheese (from Shepherd’s Way Farm)
Raspberry + Chocolate Hazelnut:
3 raspberries (from Mom’s Garden)
1 TB of hazelnut chocolate spread (from Chocolate San Jose)
Sprinkle of crushed hazelnuts (from Hazel Heart Farms)
Strawberry + Basil:
½ TB of strawberry jam (from Twin Cities Berry Co.)
1 TB of quark cheese (from Cosmic Wheel Creamery)
½ TB of basil (from Kisheri Farm), chiffonnade
Instructions
Base – Toasted Baguette
Preheat oven to 400 °F.
Place sliced baguette pieces on a baking sheet and drizzle oil over pieces.
Bake for 10 minutes, set aside to let cool.
Bruschetta:
Take your dice tomato and place on baguette slice.
Top with basil and pinch of salt.
Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
Caramelized Onion + Cheese:
Take thinly sliced onions to a frying pan over medium heat and 2 TB of hazelnut oil
Sauté and begin to sweat/cook down the onions.
Add a pinch of salt and pepper and let it caramelize (takes about 30-45 minutes).
Set aside to cool once caramelized.
Once cooled, spread cheese on baguette slice and top with caramelized onions.
Mushroom + Cheese:
Take chopped mushrooms to a frying pan over medium heat and 2 TB of hazelnut oil.
Sauté with 1 TB of Bapsang and let them cook/soften (takes about 10-12 minutes)
Set aside to cool.
Once cooled, spread cheese on baguette slice and top with sauteed mushrooms.
Hot Chili Oil + Honey + Salami:
Spread cheese on baguette slice.
Drizzle hot chili oil and honey and top with diced fuet salami.
Raspberry + Chocolate Hazelnut:
Spread chocolate hazelnut spread on baguette slice.
Top with raspberries and chopped hazelnuts.
Strawberry + Basil:
Spread cheese on baguette slice.
Top with strawberry jam and crushed hazelnuts.
