“We are a small second generation family farm located in Becker, producing a diverse variety of vegetables to meet the needs of our community. Connecting directly with consumers is extremely important to us because we enjoy getting to know our customer and being able to bring a smile to their face!
Farming is also a way of going back to my (Xor’s) roots. My parents farmed for a living when I was growing up in Laos, and now here in the U.S. today. When I was growing up I helped out on the farm all the time but didn’t enjoy it much. Once I grew older, I began enjoying being on the farm because it brought me sense of peace and happiness. It brings me great joy knowing that I locally grow vegetables for my family and the community.
We are passionate about sharing the health benefits of our produce and giving customers tips on how to cook. Our whole goal is to uplift people through food and nutrition — we love to teach others how they can nourish themselves and even grow their own food so that they can be self sustainable, too.
Each item we produce is grown with care and respect for the environment. We implement practices like crop rotation, cover cropping, and reduced tillage to maintain soil fertility, prevent erosion, and support biodiversity. Produce loses nutrients over time after being harvested, so we always harvest as close to market as possible so your food will contain the most nutrients and stay fresh for longer!
