“I’m not a cook and would subsist on peanut butter toast if I could, but I realize that I need a bit more vitamins and minerals to stay healthy. In an effort to do that, I started experimenting with sprouts a few years back, and it has blossomed into a full-fledged microgreens operation—one that started tucked away in my converted home office (The O.G.) and has recently expanded into an additional grow room in my backyard (The Annex). I now offer a variety of live harvested fresh microgreens, dehydrated microgreens, pet grass & microgreen pet treats.
It’s truly an honor to be trusted to feed members of my community and I take my responsibility as a food provider very seriously. I operate my farm using the best practices and procedures outlined in the GAPS (Good Agricultural Practices) On-Farm Food Safety Training. In addition, I have earned Certificates of Training through the City of Minneapolis for both Food Handler Level II Training and Food Safety Essentials for Special Events and Festivals.”
