Kids Activity:  All Day,  (FREE while supplies last) Our annual fall pumpkin painting is back!  Bring your imagination and we'll bring the paint pens.  Mini pumpkins await creative young deocrators!

UMN Tasting Booth: 9 am- 1pm, (while supplies last)  Learn how easy and nutritious it is to cook a hearty winter squash.  Get tips on simple preparation, selecting and storing winter squash.  Learn which varieties keep best and stock up today from the market for squash this winter!
 
Wild Goose Chase CloggersEntertainment: 10 am-1 pm, The Wild Goose Chase Cloggers have wrapped up the market in style for the past three seasons!  We're thrilled to have them back.  Plan to tap your feet and clap your hands and maybe even jump right into the dance.  The Geese are a Minneapolis based non-profit with the mission to promote interest in traditional Appalachian clogging through their rousing, interactive performances.  Come celebrate Fall Harvest with the crew of dancers and the lively music of the Yard Buzzard String Band.
 
Cooking Demo: 10 am, Join our special guests Zoe Francois and Jeff Hertzberg co-authors of Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day and, out late October, nZoe & Jeffew follow-up Healthy Breads in Five Minutes a Day.  Using their innovative method of baking they will show customers how to make fabulous healthy, homemade breads in just minutes each day.  For more baking wonders Mill City is proud to present foodie extraordinaire Beatrice Ojakangas, author of numerous cookbooks including Best Casserole Cookbook Ever and Great Holiday Baking Book.  Don't miss this demo of Beatrice's Scandinavian influenced treats!
 
Cook Book Signing: 10:30am,  Following their demos, all three bakers will be on hand with copies of their books for sale and signing.

Mill City Museum  Open 10am - 5pm

For Kids: Splash in the museum’s water lab, explore the interactive exhibits and nose around in the Bake lab. 

See the film, "Minneapolis in 19 Minutes Flat", a whirlwind tour of our fair city, written by and starring local humorist, playwright and radio personality Kevin Kling.  The show plays every 30 minutes and is included in museum admission.
